We are looking to create the next generation of gift card technology bringing industry leading technology to small/medium sized businesses (SMB's) all the way to enterprise and program managers.
The Role
Working alongside the Head of Design, I work on designing the platform we are going to deliver to SMB's across Australia in 2022. In the role I focus on creating product to enhance the world of digital gifting of both SMB's and their potential customers. Everything I do is driven by the desire to make their experiences with gift cards the best they can be placing their needs first.
Role Duties
As part of my role, I have the following duties:
• Competitive intelligence research of the fintech landscape to inform feature developments
• Liaising with the development and operations teams on design and function iterations
• Design user flow, wireframes and user interface of parts of the upcoming gift card products
• Frequent design QA with development team
• UX & UI audit of gift card products
Holistic Customer Experience
• Design for responsive web, iOS and Android apps while thinking about the touch points like email, customer support, notifications or other components of user experience.
• Design, customise or plan out interaction between customer journey and product and/or the company as a whole.
Prototyping
• Discovering products that customers love requires continuous collaboration with colleagues and frequent validation with external users and customers.
• Regularly create high and low fidelity prototypes to gather user insights and communicate your ideas.
User Testing
• Perform testing and validation work of ideas with customers
• Analyse customer feedback and other insights, turning them into documentation that will be used for senior management reviews.
